Nine Attorneys from MichieHamlett Named to Best Lawyers 2011

Elizabeth P. Coughter, James P. Cox III, John V. Little, Edward B. Lowry, William C. Scott IV, M. Bryan Slaughter, Christine Thomson, Ronald R. Tweel, and J. Gregory Webb have recently been named to the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.

Elizabeth P. Coughter was named to Best Lawyers for 2011. She focuses her practice on family law matters, including litigated divorce and custody cases, as well as collaborative law.

James P. Cox III has been listed in Best Lawyers since 2005. He practices in the areas of estate planning and administration, estate litigation, and real estate.

John V. Little was first named to Best Lawyers in 1995, and is listed under the category of both corporate law and real estate law. He practices primarily in business law and commercial real estate.

William C. “Scotty” Scott IV was named to Best Lawyers for 2011. He focuses his practice entirely on domestic relations law, including divorce, equitable distribution of property, custody, and child and spousal support.

Edward B. Lowry engages in a statewide commercial litigation practice. He has been listed in Best Lawyers for more than 20 years.

M. Bryan Slaughterwas first named to Best Lawyers in 2007. He concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of unsafe products.

Christine Thomson joined the ranks of Best Lawyers in 2008. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice actions, though she also represents plaintiffs in products liability and other personal injury actions.

Ronald R. Tweel has been listed in Best Lawyers since 1989. He concentrates primarily in the practice of domestic relations plus some personal clients.

Gregory Webb was named to Best Lawyers for 2010. His practice includes helping people injured in catastrophic accidents, as well as asbestos litigation.
