Gary Kendall Earns National Recognition

In a recent national survey of defense attorneys, in-house corporate counsel, and individuals involved in civil justice reform, Charlottesville lawyer Gary Kendall of the law firm of MichieHamlett and Newport News lawyer Robert R. Hatten of Patten, Wornom, Hatten & Diamonstein were named in the top 75 plaintiff lawyers in the United States. The survey was conducted by Mark Behrens, product liability and mass torts partner of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, and Of Counsel Cary Silverman. An article about the list was published in the Am Law Litigation Daily and picked up by numerous legal bloggers.

Gary has been with MichieHamlett since 1976. He represents workers suffering from asbestos-related injuries, as well as persons injured by job-related hazards and toxic materials. He has spoken on personal injury law at bar association meetings and national conferences on asbestos, product liability, personal injury, and workers compensation. He earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in Richmond, Virginia.
