Greg WebbGreg Webb Named to Building a Bridge Board of Directors

Greg Webb, attorney with the MichieHamlett law firm, was recently named to the Building a Bridge Board of Directors. Building a Bridge is a non-profit organization in Charlottesville with the mission to provide a family-like living environment for the full support of adults with traumatic brain injury. It fosters social, psychological, and spiritual rehabilitation. Committed to an emphasis on the individual as well as to community integration, the organization uses each member’s unique gifts in the day-to-day operation of the program and also organizes outside activities of special interest.

Executive Director Dr. Daniela Ghaida says, “We are pleased to welcome Mr. Webb to the board. He will bring a great deal of expertise and experience to our organization.”

His one-year board term began on May 27. Webb’s board responsibilities include overseeing the well being of the organization, as well as serving as a resource of knowledge and counsel to the staff and executive committee.

Webb’s practice includes helping injured people, including those with traumatic brain injuries and paralysis, by handling personal injury, automobile accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, construction accidents, heavy equipment accidents, automobile defects, wrongful death, and products liability. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1986, with a degree in Economics, he entered the United States Army for four years on active duty. Webb graduated from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1995, when he was admitted to the Virginia State Bar and Federal Courts in Virginia. He was born in West Virginia, and was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2001. Webb and his wife of 22 years, Susan, have two daughters, Gabbi and Sydney.
