Greg Webb, attorney with the law firm of MichieHamlett, was recently named to the Ronald McDonald House Board of Directors. The Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Charlottesville was incorporated in 1981 as the Hearthstone Children’s Corporation by a group of concerned citizens, physicians, local churches, and hospital employees. Hearthstone House was a 9-bedroom facility leased from the University Baptist Church. In January, 1988, Hearthstone House became the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Charlottesville. It remained in the original facility until July, 1991, when it moved to its current home at 300 9th St. SW.
The Ronald McDonald House® of Charlottesville, ‘The House that love built®’, is owned and operated by the local RMHC chapter and is administered by an independent staff and a Board of Directors that is comprised of members of the local medical community, business and civic leaders, as well as parents and volunteers.
His three-year board term began in February 2010. Webb’s board responsibilities include overseeing the well being of the organization, as well as serving as a resource of knowledge and counsel to the staff and executive committee.

After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1986, with a degree in Economics, he entered the United States Army for four years on active duty. Webb graduated from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1995, when he was admitted to the Virginia State Bar and Federal Courts in Virginia. He was born in West Virginia, and was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2001. Webb and his wife of 22 years, Susan, have two daughters, Gabbi and Sydney.
