MichieHamlett Closes Roanoke Office

While we continue to handle many cases in Southwest Virginia, as of September 1, 2010, we have closed our Roanoke office. The Roanoke office was opened in 1998 to better serve our clients in that area. Even with the Roanoke office open, our Charlottesville attorneys continued to travel from Charlottesville to the Southwest Virginia area in order to meet the needs of our clients. Our attorneys focus on meeting directly with clients and working with them from the beginning of a case through the conclusion. With the increased use of computers and electronic handling of documents, it has become easier and more efficient for our attorneys and staff in the Charlottesville office to better serve our clients in Southwest Virginia by the use of integrated systems, while continuing to travel to that area of the state frequently to meet with clients and attend court. Attorney Paul Thomson, who managed the Roanoke office, has started his own practice in Roanoke.
